Your first visit to a LANG event

Los Angeles Nude Guys hosts a variety of events and activities throughout the year. Events are listed on the upcoming events calendar on this web site. Most of our first time guests have been to nude beaches or clothing optional resorts, some live a nudist lifestyle at home. For others, this is their first time nude in a social environment.

LANG events are private events not open to the public, however, LANG welcomes guests of members at most events. If you are interested in joining LANG but don't know any LANG members, you can make arrangements with the Membership Chairman.

You must be at least 21 years old to attend any LANG event.
The LANG member who is bringing you will make reservations for you ahead of time.

What to Bring:

Members and guests are asked to bring a towel to sit on, sandals, their own beverages to drink and food to share as indicated in the event listing. A small fee to help cover expenses is charged at the door at most parties as indicated on the calendar event listing. Guests also need to bring a state ID card to show at the door. You may wish to bring a backpack or gym bag to keep your clothes together in. Please avoid bringing more that a few dollars or valuables to the party.

When to Arrive:

You should plan to arrive and leave with the member that you are a guest of. You should generally arrive as close to the designated starting time of the event as possible.

When you arrive you will check in at the door with the member that you are a guest of. After checking in, you will be directed to the changing area where you can get undressed and leave your clothes.

What to Expect:

These naturist events are much like other social events, you will find men in a social atmosphere participating in the planned activities. If the event is a pool party, you will find men playing in the pool, relaxing in the sun and socializing with others. At a cocktail party members and their guests mingle while enjoying beverages, hors d'oeuvres and talking with others. At a dinner party men will be enjoying dinner and conversation together. The event listing will include any special details.

The biggest difference is that everyone is nude, clothing is NOT an option, unless the event includes a public function which will be specifically stated in the listing.

LANG events include men of different ages, ethnic backgrounds, religious beliefs, shapes and sizes who all share the common bond of enjoying a clothes free social environment. As naturists or nudists we enjoy being nude for social and recreational activities. Many LANG members have come to think of LANG as a second family. We hope you also find a greater sense of camaraderie and mutual acceptance.

Statement on Sexuality:

LANG as a GNI affiliated club joins GNI in supporting healthy, legal, non-sexual nude recreation. We acknowledge that sex is natural, but sex is not equated with naturism. GNI affiliated clubs respect all of their members for their individuality, whether or not they choose to express their sexuality, and shall endeavor to respect individual sensibilities as may be appropriate, and encourage their members to do the same. In addition, all sexually active individuals are encouraged to practice safe sex.

LANG events are naturist events. Sexual activity is generally not appropriate during LANG events unless there is a separate designated discrete area or "after hours" where safe sexual activity may be allowed. This will be stated on the calendar listing, feel free to ask the host for specifics.
